Age 83 of Fairfield made her transition on Saturday (March 31, 2012). She was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, member of First Baptist Church Fairfield, where she sang in the Choir, Sunday School Teacher and served on the Trustee Board, and retiree of Alabama Power. Service of memory will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the church, Pastor Robert G. Twyman will officiate, with interment in George Washington Carver  Memorial Gardens. Her Loving Survivors are: Devoted Children; Virgil L. (Sharon) Pearson, Jr., Tony (Edith) Pearson, Rosemery Kinney, Rosalind ( James) Hall and Sharon Amos. The remains will lie in repose on Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 12 Noon until 8:00 P.M. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
